Oris has launched its latest Hölstein Edition to mark the brand’s anniversary, continuing its tradition of releasing creative and limited-edition timepieces. The Hölstein Edition 2025 takes a more understated approach than previous years but still carries a unique and playful touch.
This year’s model is based on the Oris ProPilot, presented in a sleek 41mm stainless steel case fully coated in black DLC (diamond-like carbon). It measures 11.9mm thick and features a bold, no-date white Super-LumiNova dial. Matte black applied numerals, a black printed minute track, and a matte black handset complete the clean, high-contrast look.
In the dark, the watch reveals its most whimsical detail: the glowing silhouette of the Oris Bear’s head appears between three and four o’clock, adding an unexpected element of fun to the otherwise stealthy design. The rest of the dial glows with the familiar green hue of Super-LumiNova.
Powering the watch is the Oris Caliber 400, the brand’s in-house automatic movement offering a 120-hour power reserve. The sapphire caseback displays the movement and includes a luminous printed ring denoting the edition and year. Each of the 250 pieces is individually numbered on the outer caseback ring.
The Hölstein Edition 2025 is paired with a textile strap lined in leather and a DLC-coated “LIFT” clasp. It is priced at CHF 4,150 and is available through Oris boutiques, the brand’s eShop, and select retailers.
This release stays true to the spirit of the Hölstein Editions — a space for Oris to experiment with design and gauge collector interest. The subtle addition of the Oris Bear, glowing playfully in the dark, hints at future innovations in lume-dial design. With its clean lines and charming twist, the 2025 edition stands out as one of the most wearable and creative Hölstein models to date.
