J.N. Shapiro has expanded its Infinity Series with a new model called the Infinity Series Pure. Launched in 2018, the original Infinity Series helped establish the brand among collectors. Now, the Pure offers the same signature guilloché dial and three-dimensional hands, but in the brand’s smallest and thinnest case yet.
The Infinity Series Pure measures 37mm in diameter and 8.8mm thick, crafted in stainless steel. This size makes it more accessible and affordable for a wider audience, priced at $26,000. The watch comes in two versions: one with white gold hands on a blackened zirconium dial, and the other with rose gold hands on a frosted silver dial. Both dials showcase Shapiro’s complex “infinity weave” guilloché pattern, described as a basket weave within a basket weave—the most intricate in the industry.
The stylized serif numerals, minute and hour tracks, and subseconds ring are all engraved and blackened. The hands are hand-sculpted, polished, and finished. The watch’s caseback features engine-turning and hand engraving, while the rest of the case is sourced from the Alternative Horological Alliance. This allows Shapiro to focus on dial and handset craftsmanship.
Inside, the watch uses the La Joux-Perret F200 movement, which is manually wound and offers a 90-hour power reserve. This choice helps keep costs lower than the brand’s fully American-made Resurgence model, which was priced between $70,000 and $85,000.
The Infinity Series Pure is limited to 18 pieces per version and will be available by inquiry through J.N. Shapiro’s website, with deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.
After launching the high-end Resurgence, Shapiro faced concerns about the market for such an expensive watch. The Infinity Series Pure addresses this by offering a more affordable, compact dress watch that maintains the brand’s craftsmanship and American watchmaking spirit. At 37mm, the new model hits a classic size likely to appeal to many customers.
