On April 9, 2025, a man in his fifties carried out a bold robbery at a watch shop on Cheung Sha Wan Road in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong. Posing as a customer, he asked to see a Rolex watch. The store attendant, unaware of his intentions, handed him a timepiece from the display case.
However, the man suddenly seized the watch and fled the scene, leaving the stunned staff behind. The stolen watch, a Rolex Daytona, is valued at around HK$150,000.
Police quickly responded, sealing off the area for investigation. The case has been classified as a robbery, and the Sham Shui Po Criminal Investigation Team is leading the investigation.
Reports indicate the suspect escaped by minibus and was last seen in Mong Kok.
